He later would transfer that knowledge working with computers to Merced County for 19 years and Merced City for 25 years as an information technology manager. He retired from the City of Merced on November 1st 2014.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Rose Labendeira and his sister, Rosalie and brother-in-law Al Velho. He is survived by his wife Susan of 47 years whom he dearly loved, his son Kevin and daughter-inlaw Melanie Labendeira with grandson, Antonio of Merced, son Tim and daughter-in-law Jessica Labendeira with grandchildren Breanna and Kai of Atwater. He is also survived by his three siblings, Dianne (George) Bianchi of Merced, Arlene (Ed) Mendes of Yuma, AZ, and Tony (Judy) Labendeira of Fresno.
