Charles Allen Wright born November 15,1933 in Sabine,Texas to the union of Ivy Dennis Wright and Anderson Wright. He relocated to Orange, Texas at a young age with his father. After high school and a couple years in college, Charles moved to Oakland, California in the early 50's and he lived with his sisters. Charles enlisted into the Air Force shortly after that. Charles service landed him in several different countries around the world. While Charles was in the Air Force stationed at Castle Air Force Base in Atwater Ca. he decided he wanted to venture into the business and finance world. He started taking courses at Stanislaus State University in business and finance. He received a Bachelors degree in business and finance. Charles retired from the Air Force in the early 70's after 15 plus years of service. He started pursuing his business and financial carrier. He was a branch manager at Santa Barbara Savings for ten years. He retired from that company and resided in Merced County. Charles would continue to live in Merced and was always known to look sharp and he loved his cars. He would travel to Texas frequently to visit family and friends. In his later years he would like to spend his leisure time at the park with friends and you can always catch him wearing some overalls and his favorite ball cap.

Charles is preceded in his homecoming by his father Anderson Wright, His mother Ivy Dennis Wright , his brother Cleveland Wright his sisters Evie Simmon and sister Lena McCray.Charles is survived by his older brother Danny Wright of Fresno California three sons Charles Wright Jr, Christopher Wright of Sacramento, California and Daryl Wright of Merced California. One daughter Jennifer Burkley- Hill of Houston Texas and five grandsons and two granddaughters. Charles Allen Wright will be laid to rest at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella California, his final resting place.
