They got married March 1953 in Tokyo, Japan. This past March they celebrated 65 years of marital bliss. He is a proud WWII, Korean and Viet Nam vet. In addition to his military career and raising his three boy’s, he was involved in coaching and officiating numerous sports (football, basketball, volleyball, softball, Judo, etc.). His love for teaching and coaching was unwavering.

The military gave him an opportunity to travel. While in Europe he would take his Ohana on many a “field trip”. He retired from the Air Force in 1968 at Castle Air Force Base.
