Warren Boyd Urnberg was born on August 15, 1935 in San Francisco, California. Warren passed away on April 29, 2018 in Merced, California at the age of 82. He was a resident of Livingston for 45 years. After High School he earned his Associates Degree in Fire Science Technology. Warren proudly served in the United States Air Force, while enlisted he was honored with an Air Force Commendation Medal. After 21 well enjoyed years of enlistment, travel and camaraderie Warren retired receiving an honorable discharge as TSGT.
He began a second career with Foster Farms as a Warehouse Supply Manager for 23 years before retiring.
He was always proud of his service he continued to stay active, serving his community. He served as a Livingston City Council Member and City Commissioner, Livingston Historical Society Member, Castle Air Museum Volunteer and was a Washington D.C. Military Honor Flight Recipient of 2016 and V.F.W. Lifetime Member, Livingston, CA.
He enjoyed spending time with his family; he enjoyed watching Nascar racing and the San Francisco 49ers football. He was a kind man with a generous heart. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Carmen (Valdez) Urnberg, sons: Roger Urnberg, Robert Urnberg, Richard (Lourdes) Urnberg, grandchildren; Anthony, Adam, Alanna, Richard and Yessenia, great-grandchildren: Sunshine, and Adam Jr. (AJ). He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Lucille Urnberg.
