Arlene Elizabeth Souza died Saturday, August 21, 2021, in her home in Mariposa California. She was a hairdresser and a seamstress by trade. She used to make her children and her grandchildren’s clothes. She was an avid gardener with a huge green thumb and was known by all the neighbors as "The Plant Lady." She also loved to play cards with her family and friends who considered her family. She is survived by her 4 children, Kandice Seikel of California, Sheryl Cayton (husband Dan) of Oregon, Raelene Wentz (husband Jamie) of Florida and Raymond "Bruce" Souza (wife Lisa) of California; grandchildren, April, Rona, Kathleen, Jalene, Michelle S, Michelle C, John, Nick, Ian, Jakob and Joe; 10 great-grandchildren. Siblings, Kenneth Busch of California, Velma Gustafson of Washington and Ronald Busch of California and nieces and nephews.
She was born September 6th of 1928 in Minot North Dakota, daughter of the late Mary Josephine Hoerter (Busch) and Francis Eugene Busch. Sister of the late Maurice Francis Busch, Delbert Paul Busch, Leona Ellen Busch (Allen) & Carol Ann Busch (Sylvis),
Burial services will follow the conclusion of the Mass services, burial will be in the Merced Cemetery District , 1300 B. St. Merced, CA 95341
