Amador Maldonado was born on May 2, 1951 in Tecualtitan, Jalisco, Mexico to Carmen Maldonado Maldonado and Camila Castellanos Flores. He passed away surrounded by his family on January 30, 2023 in Livingston, CA at the age of 71. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
Amador immigrated to the United States in his late teens. He spent the majority of his life working the farmlands of the Central Valley as a farmer and farm machinery mechanic. He passed on his immense knowledge of farming, farming equipment, and automobiles to his son, nephews and those who expressed interest in these areas.
Amador married Maria in 1981. They met as children in their hometown of Tecualtitan, Jalisco but their loving relationship began in their early 30s once they were both in the United States. They began their married life in Los Angeles, CA, but moved to Livingston, CA in 1990. Here they happily raised their 3 children and continued to build the strong foundation of their family. He always helped those in need regardless of how much or little he knew them.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Maria Maldonado; 3 children: son Jose A. Maldonado and wife Laura Ochoa, daughter Brenda G. Maldonado and husband Anthony Paulino, and daughter Camila E. Maldonado and husband Eriq Larez; 6 grandchildren: Viviana Maldonado, Alexandra Maldonado, Anthony Paulino, Ariana Maldonado, Elena Larez, and Leonel Larez.
His loving memory will always be in our hearts as he watches over us.
