Obituary
Catalina Alvarado, 61, of Merced CA, sadly passed on March 10, 2023.
Catalina was born on January 5th 1962 to Julia and Jose Cruz in Brownsville Texas.
In 1981, Catalina married to Jose Angel Alvarado Jr. and a year later they relocated to Merced, CA. Catalina and Jose went on to have 3 children: Jose Angel III, Christina and Jasmine Alvarado.
Catalina was a devoted woman of God who enjoyed attending mass and listening to worship music. She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching movies or playing loteria. Her favorite hobby was shopping and was a pro at couponing. She liked to take walks in the park. She loved to sing and dance. She enjoyed traveling to casinos and trying new restaurants.
Catalina is predeceased by her parents and brother Alfredo Cruz.
Catalina is survived by seven siblings Bertha De Los Santos (Cruz), Graciela Cruz, Fernando Cruz, Paula Rodriguez and Josie Sandoval (Carlos) Adrian Bernales (Guadalupe), Amparo Muro (Octavio) and one grandson Jose Angel Alvarado IV.
