Remembering “ Jatuan”

From Life To Celebration

Jatuan Javon A’shantae Pope, was born on July 10, 1996 in San Francisco, CA to Mr. Shavel Leevron Pope and Ms. Charl’e Chaye Mayers.

Jatuan was and is , one of the pride and joys to our family. He attended school in San Francisco,San Leandro, Vallejo, Fairfield and Sacramento. During his life growing up in a family deeply routed in the word of the most high. He experienced Neighborhood Baptist church, Greater New Jerusalem Baptist Church, Greater Prosperity Church and Wind Of Change Worldwide Ministries. Of course it was at the hands of his grand mother Barbara Pope and auntie Rochelle Pope. If you know like we know, you gotta go to church if you’re a Pope period. ‘Smile’ James pope was not having it. However, Jatuan accepted the blessing from Ha’ Mashiach (Jesus Christ) building a faithful relationship with Yahuah Elohim (Father God) being lead by Ruach Ha’ Kodesh (The Holy Spirit) as a Hebrew Israelite.Later Jatuan proposed to Malena Moralez  his childhood sweetheart who became Marlena Pope. And Jatuan loved his wife. They were inseparable and they did everything together.

Jatuan was full of love with a big heart. Always keeping in contact with family and friends. Doing what ever he could to show support and encouraging others to do their best. He was funny,  but serious.Trust and believe his stubborn self will argue you down about what he believes (smile). He love to swim, he was talented with a creative passion for music. He had amazing confidence. He loved cars, tennis shoes and dogs. And he loved when his mother Charl’e made his favorite food. He was faithful ,caring, loving and a go-getta. He had multiple businesses, owning his own record label, being highly educated in cultivation, breeding dogs with plans to open up a shoe store called (GGS) Golden Gate Sneakers.

But his dreams and goals would be cut short do to an untimely death caused by covid.

Yahhuah Elohim (Father God) has been a comfort for Jatuan through His teaching and leadership through the word. These past years Jatuan has committed himself to the study and worship of Yah with due diligence. And the word of the Most high has truly been a blessing to our family.
