Jessie R. Munoz

Jessie Rubalcava Munoz 02/06/1934 – 08/25/2023 Merced, CA.

Jessie was born February 6th 1934 to Guadalupe and Josefa Rubalcava the 8th of 9 children. Throughout her younger years she traveled up and down California with her family as they followed the seasonal crops and finally came to settle in Merced, CA where she later met and married Antonio (Tony) Munoz on September 24th 1960 and had four children Mary Ellen, Alicia, Tony and Rita.

Jessie left us to be with the Lord on August 25th 2023 at the age of 89.  She is survived by her Husband Antonio (Tony) Munoz of Merced, Son Tony Munoz (Veronica) of Don Pedro, CA., Daughters Mary Ellen Sifuentes, Alicia Garcia (Gabriel) and Rita Luna (Chris) all of Merced, CA giving her 13 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren and Sister Esther Ramirez of Merced.

Jessie was preceded in death by her parents Guadalupe & Josefa Rubalcava, Brothers Phillip and Paul Rubalcava and Sisters Usebia Partida, Edna Ayala, Rosie Soriano, Florence Lopez and Mary Ybarra.  Our Beloved Mother will be missed tremendously, she was the best Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend.  She loved her family very much and was at her happiest when she got to spend time with them.  She was a proud member of the Senior Citizens Club where she enjoyed playing bingo and socializing with friends. Our Mom made such a big impact on our lives and her legacy will live on through us.  You will forever be in our hearts Mom.
