John worked at Bettancourt Ranch for over 30 years as a Heavy Equipment Operator. According to his co-workers, he was the hardest working man on the ranch, hands down. He took great pride in his work & loved what he did. He graduated High School from Eielson Air Force Base in 1969. He wrestled and went to state, played baseball, and even did some modeling. He loved his Harley Davidsons, fast cars, and trucks. He loved being outdoors: fishing, hunting, camping, and swimming were some of his favorite things to do. He also loved to take rides, listen to music, and tell stories. His sense of humor was one of a kind! He always had a joke and a “Bronzini’ism”. His sayings always had people laughing! He was very compassionate and would give you his last dollar with no hesitation. John also had a cat, Bucky, that he adored. It was always sweet to see this big man with his cat he loved! He will be missed everyday and honored by his family and loved ones, as he will live on in each and every one of us.
John is survived by his partner, Crystal Smith, his two daughters, Christina (John) Dalmaso, Julia (Ken) Stone, JB (Julie) Bronzini. Grandchildren: Ashley Nicole, Ashley Lynae, Giovanni, Domonic, Janell, Johnee-Ray, Johnny Carlo, and Isabella. He had 8 great-grand-children. He is also survived by his brother, Carlo Bronzini, niece, Ann Buckingham, and nephew, Stan Glisson. He also survived by many close friends he considered family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Elks RV Park, 3600 Wardrobe Ave., Merced, Ca. at 1:00 on March 12. All are welcome, and please bring your stories.
