Lorin Travis Ruddock

Lorin Travis Ruddock, 48, passed away unexpectedly on March 21, 2023. He will be remembered and greatly missed by all who knew him.

Born in Napa, California, on July 31, 1974, he lived his entire life in California. He attended Napa High School and then U C Davis. He found himself in Winton, near Merced, California, working at different trades throughout the years. He loved playing his video games and guitar, playing in a few garage bands, also hanging out with his Clamper Brothers.

In later years he joined E Clampus Vitus, a fraternal organization dedicated to the preservation of the History of California. His Father, Jim Lorin Ruddock, his paternal grandfather, Rick Lorin Ruddock, and his maternal grandfather, Ed Hanson, were Clampers, so it felt right for him to follow in their footsteps and join.

Lorin is survived by his Father Jim Ruddock of Chesapeake, VA and his Mother Mary Hanson of Elk Grove, CA. Sisters Theresa Sandusky(Mike) and Denise Toledo, Nephews Brett Duplechain(Laura) and Aarron Nardone(Kaelynn), Aunts & Uncles Rickey Ruddock, Lorna Barrett (Les), Ruth Gardner (Brian), Edwina Price, Candy Brown, Ellen McGrath, as well as an abundance of cousins, extended family and friends.

Lorin is pre-deceased by his Step-Mother Margaret Ruddock, his paternal grandparents Rick and Dell Ruddock, his maternal grandparents Ed & Beverly Hanson, his uncle Ernie Hanson, his brother-in-law Rico Toledo, his cousin Tyler Gardner,

A memorial service will be held on April 22, 2023 11am. At Ivers and Acorn Funeral Home, 901 West Main Street, Merced, CA  95340.
