Obituary
Luwana Matthews, 70, born on October 17, 1952 in Fort Huachuca, Arizona to Louis & Dorothy Yarborough, gained her heavenly wings on July 1, 2023. Luwana (also known as Ann) was a hardworking, dedicated, loving, kind soul who took great care of everyone around her- especially those she loved most. Ann loved singing, cooking, dancing and in her spare time, she watched True Crime T.V. shows. She enjoyed spending time with her family & making memories. Whether it was dancing in the living room, cooking in the kitchen, or just hanging out with a coloring book, she always knew how to make the moment special by putting every ounce of love into everything she did. Perhaps she will be remembered most for the love she gave wholeheartedly and unconditionally to those she cared for.
Luwana is survived in memory by sister- O'fay Robinson, husband- Timothy Matthews, son- Jamal Lewis Sr., grandchildren- Zenaida Muñiz, Dante Slaton Sr., Jamal Lewis II, & great grandchildren- Arybella, Calletano Muñiz & Danté Slaton II.
