Obituary

Pedro J. Gorena of Catheys Valley, CA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 19, 2022.  He was a truck driver for many years.  He enjoyed working on cars and spending time with his wife of 67 years.  He is survived by his wife, Magdalena and his children Magdalena (Ramon) Lara, Belinda Llorente, Daniel (Sandra) Gorena, David (Denise) Gorena, Grandchildren, Marianne (James) Grimes, Joanne Lara, Christina (Jose) Jimenez, Jacob (Natalie) Llorente, David Gorena, Anthony (Whitney) Gorena, Timothy (Rebecca) Gorena, Gregory (Cynthia) Gorena and 17 great-grandchildren and siblings Lala (Efren) De Real, Elizabeth (Humberto) Casas, Nena (Paul) Domato and Suzanna (Antonio) Bueno.  He was preceded in death by his siblings, Irene (Santiago) Cavazos, Lilia Darias, Genoveva (Guadalupe) Rodriguez, Juan (Bertha) Gorena, Angelita ( Cruz) Sanchez, and Olga (Manuel) Grimaldo.
