Velda V. Coronado

Velda Verlene Coronado, 72 went peacefully to be with the Lord on April 14th 2003 in Bakersfield, CA, surrounded by loved ones.

Velda was born Sept. 25,1958 in Oregon to Leonard Brown and Wanda Foust. She was the oldest of 5 children. 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Velda Brown married the love of her life Lemuel Zuniga Coronado on Oct. 9th 1979, and became a devoted wife and mother of 3 children. She was a certified nurse aide for many years.

Velda was Baptized March 23 1980 in the Livingston apostolic assembly, She Loved the lord and was a faithful servant, she was a school teacher at the Christian Academy and of many years was the president of the ladies auxiliary. Velda was a devoted child of God her prayers and love will be missed by many.

 Velda is survived by her husband Lemuel (Sam)Coronado Ave., Livingston, CA and daughter, Diana Coronado (Herman Cabrera) Bakersfield, she leaves behind her sister, Kimberly, Kay Keifer of Clovis ,Ca.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and her dogs. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews and lots of friends. Velda is proceeded in death by her daughter, Trina, E. Coronado son, Michael A Coronado granddaughter, Sophia, M, Acosta. Parents, Wanda Foust & Leonard Brown sister, Pamela Brown, and brothers, Richard Brown, and Randy Brown.

Viewing will be at 1031e, Bellevue Atwater CA. From 10am-11am. Service will begin at 11 AM. Burial will take place at Winton cemetery 7651 West Almond Ave. Winton CA 95388.

Reception will be back at the church. The Coronado family would like to thank all that donated and prayed during this difficult time.
